One of our absolute favorite cookie/bars recipes. Try and not eat just one of these amazing Blondie Bars made with our own White MacaNutty Snack Mix.
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1/2 cup light brown sugar & 1/2 cup dark brown (Trust us you can taste the butterscotch like flavor with mixing the two brown sugars.)
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1/8 tsp salt
2 cups White MacaNutty
Flaked Sea Salt & Coarse Sugar (for Sprinkling)
We used mini bread loaf pans (Click Here to Buy Our Favorite Pans) but this can just as easily be made in an 8x8 glass baking pan. Line pan(s) with parchment and be sure to butter the parchment. Mix the softened butter with brown sugar(s) and beat until creamy/smooth. Add in the egg and then the vanilla. Slowly stir in flour and salt. Lastly, mix in the White MacaNutty. Pour into your desired baking pan(s). Sprinkle a little flaked sea salt with course sugar over the dough. Bake at 350°F 20-25 minutes or until set in the middle. Allow to cool 10 minutes before cutting. Enjoy!
